Reaching the unreached. During our outreach to Leyte recently we were blessed to trek up a mountain to a community of unreached people.

They live a simple life … farming … their school is a dirt floor with no books or recourses.  This community is soft and a gentle people … they were overwhelmed with our team of 35 turned up to share blessings … medical clinic … feeding program … prayer for each home … gifts and games for the children.   We trekked up a mountain that was a challenge in itself … our team from Cooroy Hinterland ACC was amazing … they came and loved and blessed this community… The bible study there tripled in size and a church was birthed from this ministry.

We then trekked down the mountain and held a huge community family fun night in the heart of the barangay … icecream … face painting … free medical clinic … raffles … games … food … it was a blast and sooooo many were touched with the heart of God.  He told us to go into ALL the world and preach the GOOD news of the gospel.. the good news is that God loves us … and He sent His son Jesus for us … and His love NEVER fails .. whoa … what a wonderful GOOD news message.
We had brown outs and rain and a number of other challenges that night … BUT we saw Gods spirit move and touch the hearts and lives of all those that came.

We have a desire to minister in a practical way to this community by supplying books and floor and walls for the school … you should see how dedicated this teacher is in this area … oh my gosh … no books … no floor … when it rains the water comes in the bamboo walls and the mud in the classroom is unbearable … there are practical things we can do to help this community.. they need a floor books and walls … CAN YOU HELP this community?  Help us to Help them …
We will be going back to the community this May and we pray that we will be bringing with us school supplies for the school and funds to bless the Barangay Captain …
