Actually
the concept started when a young boy from the rubbish dump site was
in a terrible state having just suffered a completed nervous breakdown
… and we took him in … this lead to others coming to our
door, in crisis, asking for help … and the rest as they say is
history … now we have two houses and to be honest are in real
need of a third one … so that we can continue to provide desperately
needed accommodation for more than 42 people … the people living
in the homes include whole families; single young people; children;
babies, some have been abandoned … neglected, abused or all three
… for one reason or another they are in need of some intense love
and care …
We run the homes in a very informal manner with the heart of creating
a family caring environment … we have seen the lives of literally
hundreds changed and renewed. Some stay for a short time and some need
our supported environment for an extended time. There is no limit …
we take each day as it comes … |
