We have commenced a number of livelihood projects that are designed to put young men and women in work rather than scavenging on the dumpsites of Cebu. We have a brick making project that is serving a dual purpose … firstly, supplying our building project at Inayawan with good quality bricks … and secondly, training several young men in this task.

We also have a sewing program where our ladies are being trained by a skilled seamstress … they are learning various types of sewing … including screen printing … bag production … uniforms etc … this is a wonderful opportunity to see the ladies come together and learn a new skill while have great fun ...

We also have purchased and run a number of trsicads … this young man was just out of prison and this provided him with a means to survive …
