I really want to share with you another miracle of Gods healing and faithfulness. We have our weekly fellowship meetings on Sundays in the heart of Pier 4 slum area. And we have developed a strong relationship with a number of Rugby boys (Rugby is glue sniffing). We have a system when we see them if they give us their glue we give them a food. These boys are hungry and rejected by their families and the community … they are despised and seen as worthless. Sunday morning was no different a few of the boys were so hungry … I mean desperately hungry. As one of the young boys was coming towards me I noticed he was limping badly so I asked him why and looked down at his foot. It was horribly swollen and it looked as if he had a very dirty old bandage on it that was peeling off … but it wasn’t a bandage it was his skin. The foot was so swollen that the skin was coming off. We immediately arranged an appointment with our pediatrician who was shocked at the condition of his foot.
He had sustained an injury with a rusty old nail and he had developed a severe untreated case of cellulites. We were informed that the dressing needed to be changed every day and that there was a chance he could lose his foot, and there was grave concerns that septicemia was also a risk. He needed some love in action.
From that day we would go to the area where Jason would be sniffing glue, right at the sewer … and change his dressing. I want to show you the before and after so that you too can see the awesome hand of God on this precious young man that nobody wants to help, that nobody thinks deserves a chance … that Gods divine grace and mercy healed !!!!

Luke 5 verse 30, 31 and 32
30.The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, "why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?"
31. And Jesus answered them and said, It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.
32. I have not come to call the righteous but the sinners to repentance.
